Products Warranty Policy
Warranty Coverage South Pacific Trade & Investment Company Limited offers the following warranty coverage to the original purchaser:
- Mattresses and Headboards: 5-year warranty
- NZ-made Bed Bases and Drawer Bases: 2-year warranty
What Our Warranty Covers:
- Structural defects in the main frame due to manufacturing faults
- Any physical flaw in the bed that causes the covering material to crack or split under normal use in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment
- Serious stains on a new bed that are not removable with standard fabric cleaners
- Significant structural breakage of the bed under normal usage
What Our Warranty Does NOT Cover:
- Damage resulting from physical abuse, negligence, improper installation, or misuse
- Normal wear and tear, including effects from spot cleaning or intended use
- Issues arising from abnormal environmental conditions (e.g., excessive humidity, poor ventilation), such as mildew, odors, or material deterioration
- Damage caused during transportation due to improper handling, including but not limited to trampling, impact, excessive weight, or rough treatment
- Changes in customer preference regarding colour, size, features, or other product specifications after purchase
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability:
South Pacific will repair or replace, at no cost to the original purchaser, any warranted part deemed defective by the manufacturer at its sole discretion. This warranty does not cover labour or transportation costs related to the repair or replacement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and except as stated in this limited warranty, South Pacific shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to the cost of procuring substitute products. Total liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the product found to be defective.
